Founder & CEO

Claire Heuberger

Since late 2022, Claire has been an independent Strategic Advisor in the industrial sector, specialising in Private Equity and Corporate clients. She offers expert counsel on transactions, strategic vision, portfolio company restructuring, and assesses management team capabilities.

She advised clients in the corporate world, family offices and private equity on strategy, M&A, joint-ventures and other types of business cooperation. She has deep experience of corporate and market strategy, M&A cross-border transactions (acquisitions and divestments), complex JV and partnership deals, including a broad range of operational, deadlock and exit situations in countries such as Belgium, Germany, Italy,Brazil, Turkey, Kazakhstan, India and others.

Claire has over 15 years of experience in the industrial world, leading transformational strategies, executing deals, turning around under performing partnerships or even exiting minority shareholdings and unfavourable positions where necessary. Claire can helpout at the early stages of partnering projects, in the context of a market or corporate strategy, as well as in the implementation or remedy phase. She has hands-on experience of tackling projects from A to Z, balancing short and long-term priorities so as tomaximise value creation and sustainable growth for clients.

Prior to acting as an Independent Strategic Advisor, Claire was the Head of the Global Joint Ventures & Partnering practice at LincolnInternational, a mid-market investment bank. She also worked in the industry and led the corporate strategy and M&A department oftwo large family-owned companies in the mining sector, Sibelco and Carmeuse. In this role, she re-defined the Groups’ strategy, coordinating different market strategies and executed a number of strategic projects, M&A acquisitions and divestments as well asJVs. She also worked in close collaboration with R&D on corporate venturing programs and spent several years on market and BUstrategy at Air Products. She is also the founder and CEO of Monokrom, acting as a sports agent for elite athletes.

Claire believes strongly in the value of building trust and long-lasting relationships with clients and partners, as the way to setcompanies and collaborations on the path to success.She is a British, French and Swiss citizen. She holds a masters degree inInternational Business Management from universities in France, Germany and Switzerland. She is fluent in English, French andGerman, with some notions of Dutch.

Tristan van der Mieden

Tristan van der Mieden is a recent graduate of the London School of Economics, where he earned an MSc in Political Economy of Europe. Building on his strong academic foundation, he combines a deep understanding of economic policy and strategic market dynamics with recent hands-on experience in industrial advisory and private equity. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IE University, supplemented by a summer course in Game Theory and Entrepreneurship at Bocconi University.

Since 2024, Tristan has been an Analyst at HBG Consult, specializing in Private Equity and Industrial sectors. He provides comprehensive support on investment strategies, portfolio management, and market research, helping clients navigate complex industrial landscapes with actionable insights.

Tristan has cultivated a versatile skill set through diverse professional experiences. At Quadriga Funds, he contributed to the development of sustainable investment strategies, while his tenure at Signify sharpened his project management skills in global operations. Additionally, he co-founded a streetwear brand that bridged art and sustainability, highlighting his entrepreneurial spiritand innovative thinking.

Tristan’s passion for sports advisory was exemplified during his collaboration with Atlético de Madrid during his bachelor’s degree,where he played a pivotal role in crafting an innovative strategy to enhance the visibility and revenue of the club’s female team.Together with his team, he devised a comprehensive marketing plan designed to significantly boost fan engagement and mediarecognition. This strategy not only optimized a €300,000 budget but was also projected to generate €1,000,000 in revenue,highlighting Tristan’s ability to align creative solutions with robust financial outcomes.

Fluent in Dutch and English, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish and French, Tristan thrives in multicultural environments. Hisinternational exposure, academic achievements, and passion for innovation position him as a dynamic and resourceful advisor, readyto drive impactful results in the sports and private equity sectors.

Géraud Estrangin

Since 2024, Géraud has been the Founder and Chairman of Mandayama, where he provides advisory services in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and post-merger integration for mid-sized companies. Drawing on a career spanning over 20 years, Géraud specializes in helping corporate and financial clients navigate complex M&A transactions, including disposals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, and joint ventures.

Géraud brings deep expertise in the industrials sector, advising on transatlantic and cross-border European transactions. He has a strong understanding of corporate client requirements and financial investor expectations. As traditional industries evolve with the advent of new technologies, Géraud focuses on identifying innovative opportunities that drive growth and transformation across sectors.

Before founding Mandayama, Géraud spent 18 years at Lincoln International, where he co-founded the Paris office and served as Managing Director. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in developing the firm’s presence in France, co-heading the Aerospace & Defense practice in Europe and contributing to the Auto & Mobility Technology and Electronics sectors. Under his leadership, the Paris office grew to over 50 employees, and he successfully originated and closed more than 40 transactions. Géraud’s earlier career includes senior roles at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, where he led M&A transactions in the industrial sector, and at HSBC, UBS, and Paribas Investment Bank, where he gained extensive experience in origination, execution, and client relationship management on international deals.

Géraud earned a business degree from CESEM (Neoma Business School) and a Bachelor of Arts in European Business Management (with honors) from Middlesex University. He is fluent in English, proficient in German, and has a basic knowledge of Chinese. Passionate about delving into the intricacies of businesses, Géraud is adept at analyzing all aspects of operations—from sales and human resources to production and financial modeling—to deliver tailored, strategic advice. He also brings a strong transactional culture and emotional intelligence to his engagements, enabling him to build trust and foster long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
